High body mass index before pregnancy, unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, social psychology and behaviors, exposure to environmental pollutants, inflammatory factors as well as genetic factors can lead to unreasonable GWG, which will further affect the pregnancy outcomes and maternal and child health.
